(HOMEDEC KUALA LUMPUR EDITION)
TERMS & CONDITIONS

By registering or taking part in the HOMEDEC TAG, SHARE & WIN CONTEST herein (the “Contest”), all persons participating herein (the “Participants”) agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions as listed below;  
  1. CONTEST PERIOD
    1. The Contest period for the HOMEDEC Kuala Lumpur Edition will run from 12 – 27 April 2023
    2. The Contest Submission Deadline ends on 27 April 2023 (Thursday) at 6.00pm. All participation or entries received after the date and time stated shall not be entertained and will be deemed invalid and immediately disqualified
    3. The Organiser reserves the rights to shorten or extend the Contest period without prior notice
    4. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, modify, suspend or delay amend the Contest Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice
    5. The Organiser is not and shall not be held responsible for any technical malfunction in connection with the Contest
    6. All decisions from the Organiser on all matters relating to the Contest is final and no further correspondence will be entertained
  2. CONTEST ELIGIBILITY
    1. The Contest is open to all Malaysian residents aged 18 years old and above at the time of Contest
    2. Employees of the Organiser and its Affiliates, Sponsors, Agencies, Contractors, Suppliers, Exhibitors and their immediate Family members are not eligible to participate
  3. CONTEST CRITERIA AND MECHANICS
    1. A total of FOUR (4) FACEBOOK Posting would be published by the Organiser on the HOMEDEC Official Facebook Page.
    2. All participants are required to:
      1. “LIKE” the HOMEDEC Official Facebook Page
      2. “SHARE” any (either one of the FOUR (4) and/or ONE (1) of and/or ALL) of the Contest posts
      3. “TAG” THREE (3) friends in the comment section of the Contest post(s) and;
      4.  Set their Facebook feed or profile to “PUBLIC”
    3. Each Participant may submit an unlimited number of entries as long as the Contest criteria’s mentioned in 3.2 – 3.2.4 is fulfilled before the end of the submission deadline. However, regardless of the number of entries in any of the FOUR (4) Contest posts published by the Organiser, only ONE (1) winner will be selected for each prize regardless of their entry submissions
    4. If the Participant does not meet the eligibility requirements or is subject to any entry restrictions, the participant shall not be entitled to be adjudged a winner and will not be entitled to a prize in any circumstances
    5. The Organiser’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Contest will be final and no correspondence will be entered into
    6. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify the Participants and/or revoke the prize at any stage of the contest if:
      1. There is any discrepancy in the Participants eligibility or does not meet any of the Contest criteria
      2. The Participant breaches the Terms and Conditions or other rules and regulations of the contest
      3. At the Organiser’s sole discretion, it believes that the Participants have attempted to undermine the operation of the Contest by fraud, cheating or deception
      4. Whilst the Organiser will endeavour to conduct necessary verification on the eligibility of the Participant, failure to disqualify any ineligible Participant shall not be deemed a breach by the Organiser
  4. CONTEST PRIZE & WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT
    1. A total of FOURTEEN (14) prizes would be awarded to FOURTEEN (14) different winners. Each winner will be eligible to ONE (1) of the following prizes of which, the Organiser reserves the rights to choose randomly at its discretion:

    2. All winners of the Contest will be announced via an Announcement Post on the HOMEDEC Facebook Page on 28 April 2023, 10am.
    3. The decisions of the Organiser on all matters relating to the Contest is final, conclusive and binding. The Organiser shall not be obliged to give any reason or enter into any correspondence with any person on any matter with regards to the Contest nor the reason of how and why a Participant is chosen as the winner
    4. All winners are required to respond within the same day on 28 April 2023, 8pm via a private message on Facebook Messenger through the HOMEDEC Official Facebook Page no later than the above-mentioned date and time to arrange the logistics for their prize redemption
    5. If the Organiser does not receive a response from the Winner by the response deadline, the original winner will be forfeited and the Organiser remains the right to select another winner without prior notification.
    6. All prizes must be collected personally by the winner in HOMEDEC Kuala Lumpur at the KUALA LUMPUR CONVENTION CENTRE from 28 April – 1 May 2023 during its operating hours between 10am – 8pm.
    7. Only the winner is allowed to collect the prize. In the event that the winner selected cannot collect their prize in person at HOMEDEC Kuala Lumpur, a representative and/or postage for the prize will not be allowed and the winner shall waive all claims and rights to the prize. In this event, the Organiser and its Management shall then transfer the prize to the next eligible winner according to their absolute discretion
    8. At the time of prize collection, all winners must provide the Organiser with the following personal particulars for verification purposes and further arrangements with the participating sponsors of the contest; full name as per NRIC, NRIC number, mobile phone number and a valid email address
    9.  In the unlikely event that the prize announced is unavailable, the Organiser reserves the right to substitute or replace the prize with another prize of similar value without prior notice. All prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
  5. GENERAL
    1. The Organiser shall not be liable for any other consequences or any unforeseen circumstances which may arise from and/or in connection with the Contest and/or redemption or use of any prize.
    2. By participating in the Contest, the Participant is deemed to have given consent to the Organiser to collect, use, disclose and store all necessary personal data of the Participant for the purpose of organising the Contest
    3. The Organiser reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion to use the nicknames, names, photographs, voice or video recordings and entries of the Contest Winner(s) without first obtaining any consent nor making any payment whatsoever to the Contest Winner(s) for publicity, advertising, trade or promotion purposes in any media
    4. The Participant is free to revoke his or her consent to the storage of data by contacting the Organiser via the HOMEDEC Official Facebook Page. By doing so, the Participant will also withdraw his or her participation in the Contest
    5. The Organiser will use its best endeavours to keep all personal data of the Participant under the Contest strictly confidential except for the names of the Winners which will be on the HOMEDEC Official Facebook Page
    6. All personal data received will be processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA)
